# String Based Enums

場合によっては、共通キーの下に一連の文字列を集めることが必要になることがあります。 TypeScript 2.4以前では、TypeScriptは数値ベースの列挙型のみをサポートしていました。 2.4より前のバージョンを使用している場合は、[文字列リテラル型を使用して文字列ベースの列挙型をユニオン型と組み合わせて作成する](/deep-dive/type-system/literal-types.md)を使用します。
